- To the Web site of the Achuar people of the Peruvian Amazon

The purpose of this page is to help people in Peru and throughout the world learn about the Achuar people. We would like others to know about our culture, customs and way of life.
The site is also part of our fight against transnational petroleum, gas, mining and timber companies that are polluting our land, water, flora and fauna to such an extent that heavy metals such as lead and cadmium have been found in the water and in the blood of people in our communities.
